How To Get A Community College Scholarship?

Scholarships offer students a partial discount on college tuition.
But how do you get one?
Well, US Community Colleges offer two types of scholarships: athletic and academic.
As the name implies, the sports scholarship focuses on the student's sports skills in which, in exchange for the opportunity, they will compete for the college team in the sport practiced.
The academic scholarship focuses on academic performance. The better the grades and the more extracurricular activities (such as volunteering, school projects and internships) the student has, the greater the chances of receiving the scholarship.
For example, San Jose City College has teams in the following sports, such as Football, Basketball, Softball, Cross Country, Volleyball and Golf. Seattle Colleges offers scholarships for academic merit, but these 2 are just examples among thousands of existing Community Colleges.
